(Please note: I will be doing a much longer article on these emails during the first issue of the next semester. I’m slowly going through the full copy of what was released, and do intend to do a deep dive on what is contained in them – both related to Donald Trump and other important figures. However, I at least wanted to acknowledge their release now, while it’s actively in the news cycle.)
On November 12, 2025, the House Oversight Committee released a trove of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, most of which were emails between Epstein and others. Many of these documents directly implicated Donald Trump as not only knowing about the systematic sexual abuse Epstein coordinated and engaged in, but potentially participating in it himself.
In an email from January 31, 2019, between him and Michael Wolff (a political journalist and columnist with four books about the Trump presidency), Epstein said, “Of course, he knew about the girls.” The previous sentence was about Trump. There is some earlier information redacted to protect the privacy of the victims, so it is possible that “he” was referring to someone else, but it seems unlikely. Epstein would be arrested for sex trafficking about five months after this email was sent.
In an email from April 2, 2011, between him and alleged co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein said, “[Victim] spent hours at my house with him.” Trump is the only “him” discussed in the email.
In a correspondence from December 15, 2015, Epstein and Wolff discuss an upcoming media appearance, where, according to Wolff, “CNN [is] planning to ask Trump about his relationship with you…” Epstein responds, asking, “If we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?” Wolff replied, “I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt.” This implies that Trump was at Epstein’s house or on his plane, and that Epstein has proof (corroborated by the above email to Maxwell). It also suggests Wolff and Epstein may have been planning to use this as blackmail.
On December 8, 2017, an individual whose identity is being protected was talking with Epstein about them coming to his house. It is unclear who this person is. They said to Epstein, “I’m at the door, but I will wait for my time.. I do not want to come early to find Trump in your house. [sic]” Regardless of this person’s connection to the case, this implies Trump was there regularly enough that the email writer anticipated him being at Epstein’s house. Additionally, if this person is a victim, that implies they were going to Epstein’s house, knowing what would likely happen, but they still wanted to avoid Trump in particular. Trump was in Florida on the day in question, attending a rally for Ray Moore, though the rally was about 600 miles from Epstein’s house (also in Florida).
There are a lot of emails, and I have not had time to go through them. Also, none of this even touches on the very bizarre messages implying that Trump performed oral sex on Bill Clinton, and Vladimir Putin has proof. Regardless, all of this is highly concerning and raises even more questions. If these emails are true, Trump knew and likely participated in the sexual abuse of trafficked children that Epstein coordinated.
